Scrapbook/Card Making Workshop

Went to a Scrapbook/Card Making Workshop over the weekend, I would really like to get into the Card Making, this would be very useful. The Scrapbook side I said (not for me) but after attending the workshop, what is the old saying - never say never. hehehehe.
After seeing all the achievements and projects the others were doing with their photo's, well hmmmmmmm. I just might drag out all those old albums I have stored in boxes etc.
Besides doing the crafty thing at the Workshop, what a nice day and good company was had by all, I enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to attending another next month.

Hat Box

A much needed box to keep my hat safe (for red hatters), I couldn't find a large enough one within my price range, so decided to have a go and make one. Must admit I'm very proud of how it turned out although there is room for improvement, which I will keep in mind should I need to do another. LOL

Shoulder Wrap

Scarves

A couple of crotchet Scarves I have done recently.

The Magic Ball or Scrap Wool Rug that I crotched, great way of using up all those ends that you seem to accumulate.

I used to strands of 8ply with a 9.00mm hook.
Using a strand of black (any colour will do) and a strand of Magic Ball.

Started of with a chain of 150 stitches.
1st Row Treble.
2nd Row Double Crotchet
Repeat the two rows until you are happy with the size. (ending with a treble row)
Then I did a row of double crotchet around the rug to finish it off.
Hi

Back again and sorry to say no excuses for being away so long, I have a lot of catching up to do, hopefully I will get this blog up to date with a few additions (posts, photo's etc.)

Stay with me. Lucy
